-
- With ICS you can make your scans look like from the professionals.
- By using ICS scan quality is DRAMATICLY(!) improved without
- requiring the user to manualy adjust scan colors while scanning.
-
- This is the first release of ICS after nearly two years development.
- Support for ICC Profiles and more type of devices (printers,...)
- is planned for the next major release.
-
- ICS already is directly supported by ScanQuix V4, ScanTrax V2.2.
- Other scanner drivers authors will soon add direct ICS support to
- their scanner drivers. But ICS can also work independent of any
- specific scanner software using a stand-alone image file converter.
-
- ICS does work in 3 steps:
-
- - You do scan a calibration target with your scanner software
- and use the incl. ScanTarget programm to create a profile
- for your scanner.
-
- - You do select your monitor or standard (PAL, sRGB, NTSC,...)
- you want to color correct the scan for.
-
- - Now all scans with your scanner software will be color corrected
- automaticly.
-
- It's as easy as that...
-
- ICS supports standard IT 8.7 (ISO 12641) from Kodak, Agfa, Fuji,
- CorelDraw/PhotoPaint and "Epson Color Reference Chart V1.0"
- calibration targets.
-
-
-
-
-
- Changes since V1.05:
-
- - Changed: Mainly I rewrote some stuff in order to make the ICS source
- more portable:
- - internal error structures changed
- - ICS_StatusClose can now be called twice
- - Minor bug: Fixed a bug with TIFF RGB files with more than
- 1 additional alpha channel (saved by PhotoShop
- for instance).
- - Added: Support for TIFF LogLuv compression codec added.
- - Added: Support for images saved by Hemera products
- (NetGraphics and ClipArt CDROMs) added.
- - Added: Docs updated for ImageFX and Camera calibration
